To All Our Wonderful Customers,

First THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for a great Year 3! Without your support we wouldn’t be here getting ramped up for Year 4.  Yaaayyy!!!!

With that being said a couple of important changes effective January 2013.

WEDNESDAYS ARE NOW APPOINTMENT ONLY: We’ve had a lot of requests for this so going forward we will only take appointments 1 on 1 or a small group on Wednesday.  Each appointment will be an hour but of course you know we’ll take as much time as needed.

All appointments must be made by close of business the previous day.

CANCELLATIONS:  All cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance versus 24 hours.

LATE FEES:  We will AUTOMATICALLY charge the card on file $40 per day if we do not hear from you prior.  We try to be as flexible as possible but going forward we will charge without notice if the dress is not returned by close of business on the agreed upon date.

GROUP FITTINGS:  If you have a special event coming up and you and your friends would like to come in as a group please let us know and we’ll arrange a special time outside of store hours.

We at DRESS hope you had happy holidays and we wish you all the best for 2013.

Happy New Years!

IT’S (OFFICE) PARTY TIME!

6 Dec

santa hat

Dressing appropriately for the holiday office party, whether you are the employee or the spouse seems to be the subject of  some stress this time of year.  There are no hard and fast rules, but the key word in all this is “appropriate.”  Fitted, but not too tight, festive but not too sparkly, accessorized modestly.  Understated is the way to go as opposed to over the top.  You can never go wrong with the LBD.   When you choose something as flexible as this you can make it more holiday-like by adding a metallic or otherwise shiny shoe, some great bracelets and you’re good to  go.

If you choose some black pants or a skirt you can then go with sparkles on top.  You look like you’re going to a party without over doing it.

If  you choose a metallic dress, downplay the accessories.  Getting the picture?

Probably best not to imitate the behavior below!
